Opposite.

Wanted to like Sleepy Hollow, especially with the cast. But it felt terribly old hat horror trope.

SHIELD is everything I'd hoped and more. Funny and not too grim.

This, pretty much. I've loved other remakes of the Ichabod Crane story, but this one feels like it's trying too hard. SHIELD is fun and a little cheesy, and I like the additional worldbuilding it provides for the Marvel universe. :) All I wanted really.

(same anon) You and I can hang out in our "is it just us?" corner.

Count me in, too. I like how quiet SHIELD is; it's more like a police procedural in tone, and it's more about the team-building than Freak of the Week.
