AWWWWW. That is so cute. I don't think it's anything to be embarrassed about, actually. I have had so many crushes on fictional characters from books and felt honestly crushed when either the book ended or something bad happened to them. Why should it be different when your crush is made of pixels instead of print?

I'm a little weirded out by the idea of developing a crush on something you created yourself, no matter what you made it out of.

Think of it like crushing on a fictional character from a book you'd written. It's essentially the same thing, but it might not seem as weird.

Nope, still seems just as weird.

If anything, I find the Sim less weird than the book character, because the Sim's development is not totally under your control.

I don't find it strange at all.

I find it odd to imply that it's acceptable to have a crush only on other people's creations.

It's not like anybody's getting hurt, so I wouldn't call it unacceptable. Just... I don't know. Maybe I don't understand how crushes work.

No I'm with you, it's a little weird.

What weirded me out was when other people had crushes on my characters in my original works. One was obsessed.
