...but that's not what happened? doing a couple of non-shitty things doesn't erase the millions of shitty things you did and make you a hero

are you a big snape fan by any chance (although, tbf, I think you could probably make a better case even for him)

You could definitely make a better case for Snape. He didn't get Voldemort involved with anyone he wasn't targeting anyway.

And the only murder we ever see him commit was Dumbledore, who asked him to. Show vs tell works in Snape's favor here, haha, Walt has killed tons of people on the show and showed remorse for very few. But, Snape has the benefit of not being the main character, his motivation and inner life are much more speculative than with Walt, which means his moral code is up for questioning where Walt's is pretty well laid out by the show.
