(Anonymous) 2013-10-12 12:29 am (UTC)(link)Homeschooling is no better or worse than any other form of education, in my opinion. The homeschooled girl I knew when I was a kid exceptionally smart, and though her mother was a strict Christian, she seemed to want her kids to be well-rounded and was accepting of me, a godless heathen. Then you have people who do a shitty job of it. It depends on why they're homeschooling, and the education they themselves have. I'm not sure I'd want to live in a place where that wasn't allowed.
