I want to die but I am not suicidal (yeah well... go figure), and I'm thinking if I should seek help or just wait until it passes. Also, I suspect I may be overthinking the problem.

Other than that, smashing. I thought up a really cool ciphering scheme and drew a cute illustration. And I have a jar full of Nutella.

Maybe talk your problems out with someone? I know everyone's different, but sometimes just talking about what's bothering me makes things seem a little less dire. Granted I also realize that not every problem or issue is easily fixed, but if you're feeling that badly I don't think you should handle things alone. I'm sorry, and I hope you feel better.

As for seeking help, it certainly couldn't hurt, and you might be glad you did!

Thanks! I just finished talking to my best friend, but this problem is actually quite long-lasting and doesn't seem to be fixing itself. I think I'll see if I can get professional help (all things considered, this might be tricky).

Shit has an unfortunate habit of happening at the most inopportune moment. You just have to deal with it the best you can. When you have an issue that's long-lasting it's best not to let it completely ruin your day by day life; after all, there's only so much you can do about it in the meantime.

I've had that feeling. I've waited and it got worse, but I've also had times when it's passed.

Seeking help never hurts. Even just calling a help line to sort though issues, or a telling a friend or family member. Therapy can also be a big help. They can help sort through your issues and get to the root of the problem.

Just make sure that if you keep feeling worse, you don't keep it in. I've spiraled down because I have before (just as a warning).

Yeah, I don't really want to kill myself but I'd like to just stop existing without causing my family and friends any pain. To just erase myself from the equation as if I'd never been there. Since that's not possible, I'll keep on living, I guess.

Same here. I'm not concerned about my family (our relationship is... bad), but I'm terribly afraid of pain, so yeah. Suicide out of the question.
