pretty horrible actually

I worked at a preschool and saw a coworker being overly rough with a child, so I went to the school's director and the next day the director tried to force me to apologize to the woman because I "overreacted". The woman had found out that I reported her and went to the director with complaints that I didn't like her and bullied her, and the director believed her and not my report. So I quit. And now I have no job. :\

Shit, that is just not right. Life is unfair, nonny. I'm sorry that happened to you, but you absolutely did the right thing; you're a good person! I hope you find another job soon. (One that treats you like you deserve!)

You did the right thing. The school's director sounds horrible and you're better off out of that place, though I'm not trying to minimize the problem of having no job.
