Did people really get TOS'ed *regularly*?

I remember one kerfuffle on LJ in all the time that I was on there, which only affected a handful of journals, and I don't know of things happening on other archives.

I'm not trying to be a troll, or saying that AO3 isn't valuable (1 time is certainly enough for people to get wary), but that does seem like an overstatement.

There are definitely waves of TOSing on ff.net. And even when TPTB aren't actively trying to crack down, your fic could get reported by someone with a grudge at any time.

Ahh, okay. I wasn't thinking about that applying to ff.net, that makes sense. Thanks!

The TOSing on ff.net only happens if you do something stupid like script-format, kiddie porn, or shoving crossovers in the main category to try and boost views, and then do nothing about it when people complain. Their rules are stupidly easy to follow, and frankly anyone who did any of the above needs burned at the stake anyway.

kiddie porn

There, fixed it.
