The movies have at least three big advantages over the books:

1) Gorgeous scenery.

2) None of Bella's boring internal monologue.

3) Michael Sheen.

I hope you're not ranking them in order, because Micheal Sheen is definitely the best reason to watch those movies.

Yeah, I'd rather look at RPatz an the scenery for 90 minutes than to read 300 pages of really embarassingly bad describtion of how hot Edward is. And I'd definitly rather look at Taylor Lautner without a shirt.
