That would just be a huge roadblock in the story they're trying to tell. Wouldn't be able to stop the end of the world if they were fighting all the time. And if he were racist and sexist, they *would* be fighting.

Oh yea, they definitely would. I'm perfectly fine with the show as is; if Crane was a total dick I probably wouldn't have made it past the first episode. This show is fun for me, I don't want to rage at one of the main characters.
