I'M SO WITH YOU ON KIRK/SPOCK/MCCOY

I love them so hard :'( And while K/S is amazing, them as a badass triad of faithful husbandos makes even more sense than just the K/S. TOS-based works beautifully, but if you take the movies made after TOS into account, it's canon as fuck.

Why is this even a rareship.

My biggest rarepair ship is so rare actually only my RP partner and I ship it :C They're from the same canon, but different time-periods, so the only way it works if it's AU or time-travel is somwhow involved. THEY CLICK SO BEAUTIFULLY, but yeah. (They're young!Ocelot and Otacon from MGS, if you're wondering. There's only one fic in the internet about them we've not written, called "Stray" by ex-Ljuser Dahne, which pre-dates our shipping by a solid 4 years, but it we didn't know of it until later and had nothing to do with the reason we started to ship them.)

The rarepair I crave the most would be Loki/Castiel. But only if I could get someone who enjoys my headcanon of it. I need to learn how to write fic.

Is there a "Loki" in Supernatural, or are you talking about a crossover ship?

There is a Loki in SPN (sort of). But I am talking Marvel Loki/Castiel.

Oh, I know you pain, then :( Finding a crossover-pairing ship that fits with one's headcanon is fucking hard.

I should commission someone one day. Is that a thing you can do? Or just keep making happy stories in my head.

I think you can, and that it shouldn't be hard to find a fanartist or fanfic writer that is in both fandoms.

I wanna hear your head canon now, because I'm bordering on being all over this ship.

So in my headcanon Loki and Castiel meet through Gabriel. Gabriel meets Loki during his time as a messenger and when he goes into hiding, Loki lets him take his name and reputation. All Gabriel has to do is maintain the whole "trickster" persona. After the events of Season 5, Sam comes back and season 6 doesn't exist (cuz it is awful).

For the MCU (which is what mine is based off), I vary between it being post-Avengers or them meeting before Thor.

Either way Gabriel hooks Loki and Castiel up. His reasoning is this:
-Loki needs someone who can calm and ground him. Someone who won't betray him or hurt him or make him feel inferior because of his interests.
-Castiel needs someone to make him cut loose. He also needs someone that won't be put off by some of his "less" human habits.
-They both need someone who can handle high intellect, powerful bodies, and long lives (one of the aspects of Dean/Castiel I never see).

So Gabriel sets them up and it is a bit rough at first, but eventually they balance each other out. If it is Post-Avengers, Castiel also helps Loki (while not love) but at least appreciate humans.

Everyone (except Gabriel ofc) is completely confused by the couple. But it works for them. :D

I also have this whole related headcanon, where eventually Castiel takes Sam and Dean to Stark Tower (to visit his BF). Sam is a total Bruce and Captain America fanboy, while Dean loves Tony (rock music and cool cars, of course he loves Tony).

Eventually the Avengers and SHIELD begin to learn about this whole supernatural world they were not aware of. They being to consult Sam and Dean. They create a SPN branch of SHIELD. Sam is put in charge of research/development, while Dean is put in charge of recruiting hunters (if they work with SHIELD they get new awesome Stark created tech, medical facilities, government help).

That is the gist of my headcanon.

Sam comes back and season 6 doesn't exist (cuz it is awful)

Haha, season 6 is like my least favorite too.

I'm all over this Supernatural/Avengers mash-up. Good head canon.
