on one hand, i agree, but on the other, "if they do anything progressive, the show will fail" is why there's such an issue with getting representation for minority groups in the first place.

i mean, i would love to see a bi character that was like dean on tv. i would. i just don't think the spn writers would have any idea how to pull it off in a way that isn't glee-levels of offensiveness because their track record is awful.

That's the main reason I don't want canon Destiel - I really don't trust the writers.

in terms of representation, sure. i still find her character excruciating to watch. felicia day is an awful actor and charlie is incredibly annoying in the same way garth is.
