Re: Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

The "romance" is the blandest told-and-not-shown thing I have ever witnessed. The Knave of Hearts is the only decent actor (Naveen Andrews is chewing so much scenery he's going to have jaw muscles larger than his biceps in a few episodes) and he's not so much "watchable" as "doing the best he can with terrible dialogue." The CG may be the worst I have seen in a decade, and one of the major characters is entirely digital so it's not like you can pretend it's not there. It does not seem to mesh logically with the parent show at all. Despite being ostensibly from the same geographical area as Jafar (Naveen Andrews) and the genie from the parent show (Giancarlo Esposito), the good guy/love interest genie is a vaguely-ethnic-mostly-white-looking dude.

But other than that... No, actually other than that it's just boring.
