The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-17 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah...
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
Oh yeah, and in the 4th grade I had to pretend marry one of the most unpopular kids in school in front of the whole 4th grade. :(
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
I mean, there's stuff like my early, completely clueless "save the trees" sort of activism.
If you're looking at more gross stuff, I have vomited in trash cans on highway parkings, and the odd flower bed.
Also, I once spent doing my hotel checking without noticing until later my underpants were showing. Bonus points: hotel was in India, so they mut have thoughts us westerners are nutty as hell.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
It's long gone now, thank Darkseid.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
Right after that I had to get dressed, go to work, pretend I hadn't been wailing and crying and be in charge of people and I've been vaguely humiliated every time I had to sound responsible today.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-18 12:06 am (UTC)(link)I had a tantrum shriek fight with my mom in the Wendy's parking lot when I was about twenty. They didn't let me forget it afterwards for a while. Thankfully it wasn't near where I was living (we were traveling). We used to live in a small town and I had been informed that "people talk" in those towns. I probably would have given up on trying to find a job.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
happened in public omg. O.o
I'll remember to avoid being seen in public with my brother.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
Fortunately it was dark out and we're at the end of a quiet street and the only witness was the dog whose response was to ignore me and go poop.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
I swear in that moment I can't tell if I felt more infuriated that I let him win some kind of victory or more righteously fratricidal. I think he knew it too because coincidentally tonight is the first time he's ever volunteered to take an extra shift at work.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-17 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)I was apparently 4.
I have no memory of this event ._.

Pretty embarrassing, but also hilarious!
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
I think #1 would probably be the time I broke my toe* trying to kick a rooster that was attacking me. That was embarrassing and horribly painful.
There was also the time Mom told me to go get the mail after we'd had about 6 inches of snow, that was then covered by two inches of solid ice. We live on a hill*, our mail box is at the bottom of it. They had to throw me a rope. Mom laughed at me, and swore afterward she was just joking about it. I've never forgiven her for that.
And I know I've already mentioned the time I tried tasting Kool-aid liquid without diluting it. I'd like to remind everyone else to never do that.
*And possibly other things in my foot, my toes on that foot never did go back to bending correctly.
*I still live here next door to my parents.
Re: The most embarrassing thing you've ever done.
ON A TREADMILL. WENT FLYING OFF AND HIT THE GROUND IN FRONT OF A PACKED GYM.
just bringing up this memory is truly painful to me. and people were coming over to see if I was okay and I was just like...please no please just pretend you didn't see just leave me here to die LMAO
worst part was that I wasn't even close to being done my workout so I had to get right back on that treadmill and bust my butt, all the while trying avoid the cautious glances of the people next to me. ugh!!
