(Anonymous) 2013-10-18 02:32 am (UTC)(link)I'm aware fandom is overwhelmingly obsessed with shipping, but really, what have the people who keep asking for platonic stuff done lately to remedy this? It's your problem. Why wait around for others to come around? I mean, when someone ships a rare pairing that has no fanwork, they might, shocker, have to knuckle down and create it themselves. Go find minds who alike and start your own platonic fandom corner, because frankly, this holier-than-thou attitude is annoying as balls when it never seems to be accompanied by any proactive effort.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-20 12:59 am (UTC)(link)The thing is, I now write some gay fiction (original), but for me I just totally loved (and at the time, NEEDED) the close friendship stories. I just got so tired of feeling like I always had to explain or justify myself or got laughed at for not wanting to ship my guys.
So, no. I'm not writing more right now. Deal.
