This is how I feel too. Like, 99.9% of the time I see the "THEY CAN BE JUST FRIENDS TOO" argument is with m/m relationships (the other .1% was Zutara - but that's a whole other can of worms uvu), so I can't help but cringe at that argument bc I've gotten this knee jerk reaction to it. I mean, yes there IS a shitton of shipping in fandom and friendships aren't explored nearly so often, but at the same time, I can't help but be wary whenever I see that argument. :/
