Is this the first major complaint religious parents have had about Percy Jackson? Nothing about polytheism or "Satanic" themes? I'm surprised.

you forget these are probably the same religious parents who cried about Mitch being gay in ParaNorman rather than the zombie themes

People who use religion to single out reasons to hate gay people are the worst >.< As someone once put it on Tumblr (or something) "If how someone stimulates the pubic nerve is the center of your moral compass, you are the one that is lost"

Yeah, it's strange. If you go to Amazon and read the one star reviews, they say stuff like "I can't honor god and let me child read this!" blahblah. It's about "pagan" gods and the fact one character is gay is the 'ungodly' thing about it? Lmao
