Definitely talk to your doctor. I really think it's the astigmatism and it took me ages to get used to the feeling in the left eye (where my astigmatism is worse) also make sure you have different lenses. My left lens is thicker than my right because of the astigmatism.

For keeping your eyes wet, I used to just use the contact solution, not the SUPER clean stuff (where you only put one drop in at a time, but the stuff you rinse the contacts with)

Definitely go back to your doctor until you resolve the issue. Mine let me try samples of different contacts before I found a brand I like.

Thank you for the advice. I'll have to wait until Monday to call. Stupid doctors never working on the weekend. :|

I'm lucky and my eye doctor works on Saturday mornings. But at this point, one of my really good friends is an optician at Walmart so I just head over there with any issues and he helps me out. Usually it's fixing my broken glasses, but he can recommend stuff for my contacts too.
