I played WoW for a few years, and I only met ONE of these types of players. I was friends with well over a dozen girls on the game over the years.

But, that ONE was pretty fucking awful. Guild princess, other girls in the same guild treated like garbage by the men with frat boy mentalities because they didn't flirt and cater to them the way this one did, she eventually flipped factions - after stealing the entire guild bank.

I'd feel sorry for them, but the misogyny in the guild was far worse than that guild princess.

I left said guild, became main tank for a guild that quickly exceeded them in end-game content. I only mention this because they treated me like shit/assumed me calling any shots meant progress would stagnate and constantly ridiculed my abilities simply because I was a girl. The main tank of their guild constantly waltzed out of LOS of healers, but he was put on a pedestal. Don't really miss mainstream MMOs much ahahaaaaaa.
