...I think you might be reaching here. There's a difference between people shipping a bunch of slash pairings and people shipping slash only because the people are white and male. Fans preferring slash/het/femslash is nothing new, and frankly? Your lower comments seem to imply that we should just take the POC bone thrown our way and run with it, regardless of whether or not we like the character. And even if we do like the character, it doesn't mean we have to ship them.

People have preferences that have nothing to do with racism or sexism. Deal with it.
