Asriel/Marisa were one of my first ships-- fellow heretics and mad scientists jumping together for the cause, oh yes-- I loved how passionately they felt about each other and how nonetheless their ambitions and competence meant more to them than romance. I also adore Lyra (and had my heart broken by her separation from Will) and Serafina and the ontological arguments implied in Dust and the darker streaks of the Magisterium. Which is to say yes, please! I'm always happy to find more people who still care about the series as more than a tag for daemon AUs, although I like those too.

I've got to say that it's a breath of fresh air to find someone who's into HDM itself, and not simply interested in giving dæmons to characters in other canons! HDM was my first fandom, and the first friends I made online were fellow HDM fans, so it's something that's very close to my heart. I look forward to getting to know you.

And I'm sorry I'm only responding to you now. It's been a very hectic week.
