IDK. On the one hand, that's funny and badass. On the other hand, it has always made me uncomfortable to see Holmes and Watson do something illegal (and I would've been more uncomfortable still if they had seriously violated the law; there's this "becoming criminals to fight criminals" motif... it should be administered carefully, I feel, when it comes to the Sherlock Holmes franchise).

In any event, if you mean "illegal" as in "stealing things and breaking into houses", I would be glad to see more of that, though perhaps in a canonical adaptation rather than in the canon. As to the more serious offenses, I think there is a distinct bound they shan't overstep.
