I just got out of A&E this morning.

Went in yesterday afternoon with suspect heart problems and they kept me overnight.

Found out after a whole battery of tests (five separate blood tests, hooked up to saline, multiple ECGs and other tests where they hooked up dozens of wires to me which is pretty cool) I'm almost certainly fine, but that's not great.

They think it's just a combination of stress, and overworking myself at the gym (I hit it like I still had the fitness and strength of my Uni days), but they still want me to do a 24 hour ECG to be sure.

Stress is never good for the heart. Hope you feel better soon!

I don't even feel that bad, just a bit rough and the symptoms were uncomfortably close to serious heart issues. Hell went straight into work this morning.

I've always historically had the whole 'german' mindset of ignoring health problems until they become a serious issue, and I've realised I'm not nineteen any more and especially given my lifestyle that shit is going to catch up to me, so played it careful.

Wow, you're hardcore. Just make sure not to overdo it.

Glad you're playing it careful. Heart issues are not to be trifled with.

Ah, I can relate to the not going to doctors until a problem gets to critical mass. Unfortunately, it very much cost me. :/

I did a EEG as a child actually, that was pretty neat (though the reason less so).

I really don't like it when you guys get sick, I just want to fly over to wherever you live and visit you in the hospital and harass your doctors to make sure everything they can do is being done and yeah I realise I might be a bit overprotective...
