I don't know if it's quite the same, but whenever I hear the name "Alan Tudyk" I never think of Wash from Firefly. I don't even know who I do think of, but the fact that he played King Candy blew me away, because I did know that it was Alan Tudyk who played him, but not that Alan Tudyk = Wash (among others).

There is someone, I can't remember who that I ALWAYS confuse with Alan Tudyk. Agh, I wish I could remember who it was.

I just. His name doesn't even look like a real name. Plus, his King Candy voice just sounds like the laughing Uncle from Mary Poppins, so I was expecting someone more like that, I think. Not Wash.

Yeah, it was such a perfect Ed Wynn imitation that I was assuming it was Jim Cummings or a similar "specializes in sounding like everyone" VA.

For some reason, I have it in my head that Alan Tudyk played Data. I know he couldn't have, not being Brent Spinner, but I can't fix it in my mind.
