For instance, I still get Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon confused at first glance. I also get Tom Waits and Ron Perlman mixed up. Regardless, they both creep me out.
And though it hasn't aired, I expect I will be confusing the titles of Almost Human and Being Human every time I google search it.
What about you all?

They look nothing alike, their work isn't similar, but when I hear Spike Jonze, I see Spike Lee. I didn't know they were different people for the longest time.

As for shows, I'm already mixing up Almost Human and Being Human. Whenever I want to check something about Almost Human I keep googling Being Human like an idiot.
I also mix up Trigun and Gurren Lagann up constantly. I've seen neither but when someone mentions either I go "oh yeah, that show-- no, wait, THAT show. Uh, which show?"

(Anonymous) 2013-10-20 12:56 am (UTC)(link)Wilson and Chase on House, Martha and Mels on Doctor Who, Catherine Sakai and Susan Ivanova on Babylon 5... I could go on and on. That said, I'm faceblind and I do that so frequently with people in my own life that having it happen with television characters is hardly surprising.
I don't confuse shows very often, but before I started watching Babylon 5 I could have sworn it was 'the one with the Cylons' (ie, Battlestar Galactica).
