Re: Where is everybody today?
And I've only listened to about half the album now (though I'd already heard several songs from it) but holy crap it's awesome so far. Really wondering why I didn't buy it years ago when I wound up with a copy of "Maybe You Should Drive" and found myself loving it.
Re: Where is everybody today?
Have you heard any of their other CDs? Born on a Pirate Ship is my favorite. c:
Re: Where is everybody today?
But given how much I liked those two albums, and every other track I've heard from them, I really don't have any excuse for not having the full discography already, except that I very rarely go music shopping anymore because I no longer have a data entry job where I do nothing but type and listen to CDs for 8-16 hours a day. XD Not so urgent to hit up the music stores for the last several years...

Re: Where is everybody today?
Actually that may be why I have no other BNL albums. People KEEP their BNL albums. I got pretty much my entire Sonic Youth collection used, on the other hand, because they're a band people buy albums from because they have a reputation for being cool in an indie, underground sort of way that will make people seem cooler for being fans. And then people listen to the actual albums and go "...WTF is this?" and ditch them. XD There's never NOT used Sonic Youth at the CD places... I have only very rarely seen BNL used, and only the two albums I've already had for ages. Until today!
