Ginny Weasley. Even after she became more prominent in OotP I never really paid her much attention, and I was just like "okay cool, she's different now". But now I really love her story and how there are some things you just don't really notice until you reread, or someone points it out to you. Like just the other day someone pointed out how Ginny was described as looking distraught from the Dementors on the train, and just the previous year she had been possessed by Voldemort. She was pretty tough even before she came out of her shell.

She really was. I think a lot of it was also just that she was awkward around Harry, plus he was never around her that much until OoTP.

OMG THANK YOU! FINALLY!

I am a huge fan of Ginny too, and I am so sick of people making her out to be "all about" Harry or "the Hogwarts bicycle" or any other stupid stereotype.

I wish more people paid more attention to her character and the parts that aren't about "BAW SHE ENDED UP WITH HARRY".
