Winry Rockbell! I didn't went so far as hating her, but I didn't like the Ed/Win ship, and wasy way more invested in the Elrics' story than anything related to her. Mind, this was in FMA 2003, so I was going through my ridiculous fangirl phase as well.

Afterwards I realized she was awesome, but still was kind of misguided about it. When Conqueror of Shamballa came out I cheered because she was left in Amestris (with Shezka and Rose, and I shipped her with either/both of them); and the Elrics came to this world (and I loved Elricest. I know, I know.)

Now I love her on her own rights :3

I still dislike the manga for a lot of reasons (playing it straightforward-shonen instead of the subversion of shonen the 2003 series was, for example); and I'm not sold on her marrying to Edward. IDK. But at least she has a great development in both the manga and Brotherhood, so it's ok?
