Miley Cyrus goes on the MTV awards and acts like an twerking idiot, tumblr explodes with people calling her out for appropriating African-American pop culture. And even though it happened almost two months ago, people are still talking about it in those tones.

Kanye West sells tour t-shirts featuring skeletons in warbonnets, bags that have the Confederate flag, features a live show where Jesus hands him the mic (No satire here. All month there has been post after post of telling white people DON'T DRESS UP AS NATIVE AMERICANS for Halloween. (That only white people do this.) And that don't appropriate Native American culture in general. But Kanye does it and nothing.

Fucking hypocrites. This form of "social justice" is not about protecting culture it's about having a chance to yell at "white people" and tell them how shitty they are.

Oh man! I saw that! It is like....he is wearing a fucking war bonnet. A WAR BONNET. Apparently only white people can appropriate. Probably because SJW count POC as one big blob.

Don't forget, SJWs only consider institutionalized racism (which only whites can do, apparently) to be real racism, racism by PoCs (even to PoCs of other ethnicities, like say a black person discriminating against an Asian person) isn't really racism.

Personally to me "POC" /"People of color" sounds more racist than just describing someone as black to give a description. Like I'd never to refer to anyone as POC offline because it would feel icky.

The warbonnet thing is dumb, but... I think we can safely assume Kanye West isn't a white supremacist. So what's the big deal with him using the confederate flag? It's REALLY DUMB, granted.

It's kind of a big part of American history. I'm not sure we can just pretend the symbol doesn't exist as if that's going to Fix Racism.

Because he has it on a totebag. With no name or anything indicating he is going for irony or whatever shit he says it is for.

But is this A Crime Against Culture or just dumb?

I have trouble getting angry at a black man profiting from that flag.

What adds the the annoyance for me is that recently theres been this gif set going around and people talking about how inspirational and great Kanye West is and how if you talk shit about him you just don't understand and/or are racist.

I dunno, I haven't been keeping up with any of it, but I think the general rule about Tumblr SJWs - most of whom are very white - is to leave it up to people of color to flay non-white people doing stupid and offensive shit, because Tumblr eats their own and all it takes is one second for somebody to pop and say "as a [insert race] person, I think you need to shut up McWhitey because [blahblahblahwords]". I just saw a native Hawaiian woman flay non-Hawaiian SJWs up one side and down the other for getting offended by something in Lilo & Stitch, so...yeah.

Did that stem from the recent "Lilo takes pictures of fat white people and thinks they're beautiful; is clearly a product of whiteness trumping all other ethnicities in the media" drama, or from something else?

...what? That's a thing? No, it was "Lilo is the only visibly native Hawaiian student to get kicked out of a class in Hawaiian dancing hdu" drama. I can't believe there's two different race wanks for the movie, goddamnit, people.

Oh my god not only is that smackdown a think of beauty, but the original posters tumblr is like a shining beacon of SJW. I've been scrolling through and it is hilarious. If there was a SJW bingo she would have filled up the card.

Lets see. The latest in the monster high tag is that an 8-10 year old girl who usually makes videos on how to do up your face and suh to look like the main characters from teh web series.

She's done Abbey, Frankie, Lagoona, what have you. You know, blue skin, green skin, orange and pink if she's done Toralei and/or Draculaura.

SO. What she does here recently...is she does her kae up tutorial as Catty Noir. A PITCH. BLACK. FURRED. PINK HAIRED, PINK EYED, PINK EYE BROWED, BLACK CAT GIRL.

What has the tag exploded into? She's a racist pic for doing blackface. Despite the fact that Catty, as far as we know, isn't any kind of representative of a PoC character. You can headcanon her as such all you want, but it isn't set in stone.

I don't believe the girl did blackface. Everyone has their opinions on it, but what's getting me is that more times than not, NO ONE in that tag seems to know EXACTLY what blackface is and they're harassing the little girl. It's like the Wydowna thing all over again.

I've seen something like that. Someone dressed up as Dark Link, whose skin is black because he's the figurative and literal 'dark shadow' of the hero, and some SJW 'called him out' for blackface.

The cosplayer pointed out the above, and then mentioned that he was black. WHOOPS.

It's honestly getting to the point that you can't wear any black, yellow or red bodypaint for any reason, no matter who you're dressed up as, because that's black/yellow/red face. Fucking context, how does it work?

Similar thing happens to every Carapacian cosplayer in Homestuck fandom.
