My mom calls my music taste 'eclectic', but I'm pretty sure the word for it is just 'special'. XD

I love everything from classic fifties and sixties music, to modern pop, to 'classical' music like Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban, to actual classic music like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, to whatever Within Temptation falls under, to JPop/JRock, to ABBA/Moody Blues, to Mike Oldfield, and musicals. I grew up with records of Mike Oldfield, Moody Blues, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, etc, and listening to the Sunday Night Oldies (and radio plays) because it meant being awake at like 11pm and I felt cool. XD

Just jumping on you right now to say MIKE OLDFIELD AHHHH!! because finding anyone who knows who he is besides 'he did Tubular Bells' is a rarity. You kinda made my day here.

Haha, I know! "You know, he did Tubular Bells... from the Exorcist?" was my default when trying to remind people who he was. XD

Probably Five Miles Out, or Earth Moving I love pretty much every song off those two cds, though I like The Songs of Distant Earth too. :D

I really liked Songs of Distant Earth as well, actually. I'm really torn when playing favourites because I just can't decide between Ommadawn for its haunting melancholy or Discovery, which I love just about in its entirety.
