I'm having flashbacks to Stargate Atlantis fandom and the way so many writers insisted on writing out "ZedPM" whenever Rodney was speaking. As someone who shares the Canadian pronunciation, I was so tempted to write out every other character's dialogue as "ZeePM" in my own fics. WE KNOW HOW HE PRONOUNCES IT, HE'S STILL SAYING ZPM, IT IS NOT NEARLY AS CUTE AS YOU THINK IT IS.

(Um, apparently I'm still not over that. But I just wanted to say, I am right there with you, OP.)
