Re: So about that girl found in Greece

My biggest problem with it is that there wasn't a legal adoption or any paperwork that the parents had to document that the child was not theirs, so I can understand where the government would jump to the conclusion at lest, knowing how many children are abducted and go missing each year.

The fact that they were collecting benefits for children that they couldn't prove? Yeah that's a big issue for me. I don't agree a lot with the welfare state and how it is handled, the lack of oversight. There's a lot we're not getting out of Greece too.

+1

Also, for the people who say this is all a big stereotype... there are problems with Roma and crime, as I understand it. I could be misinformed. If I am, I'm sorry, I'm just speaking from what European family members have told me.

I don't deny that there are a lot of problems. I've traveled to Europe as a tourist and the tour guide warn you constantly to avoid the gypsy cabs in Prague and Budapest because they will rip you off and there are only two safe cab companies. You also have to be careful in crowds, stick in groups because they work in teams and I saw it even in Vienna. It's bad.
