Are you watching the show that is made up of (left to right)

An annoyingly perfect mary-sue "I'm so great I can computing and stuff. Whedon is such a great feminist for creating me guys!!!1"

A british bimbo who is far more 'underwear model' than 'science geek' "How do I science? Oh, just stand here and look pretty? Ok"

A Scottish rehash of Zander. I am strangely ok with this.

Mr Boring McEmotionless "The fans wanted me back. Did I mention I was in the film?"

A woman who should be awesome asskicker, but is instead an actual Asian Kungfu Master. I mean jesus did whedon really just go BACKWARDS in terms of his boring overused stereotypes? Is the 1970's new again?

and a man who is so cliché 'typical boring white male hero' material, if AOS was a videogame he would be voiced by Nolan north.

Is that the show you're watching and are happy to continue to watch?

What shows do you watch? I'm sure we can snidely break the characters down with little effort.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-27 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Probably, but not nearly as easily.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-27 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
You'd be surprised. It's apparently really easy to ignore depth and be thoughtlessly snide.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-27 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
you appear to have hurt your butt. I'd get that looked at if I were you.

(Anonymous) 2013-10-27 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
You seem deeply wounded that people don't think you're funny. Self-esteem issues?

(Anonymous) 2013-10-27 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
I don't recognize any of these caricatures. Also, for someone who seems to enjoy criticizing a writer for his supposed failings as a feminist, calling a character a "bimbo" because she's conventionally attractive and works in the hard sciences is super progressive.

+1 Anon's hypocrisy is showing.

You lost absolutely any credibility critiquing (not that you had much to start with) when you misspelled "Xander." Successfully skewering something means knowing things about it in the first place.
