I can't read PWP-style smut at all, it's so boring to me. Way too many writers just don't know how to integrate sex with plot and use it to say something about the characters and their relationship at that particular moment in the story. It's so annoying to be reading an otherwise good, well-characterized fic, then see it all fly out the window as soon as the clothes come off. I don't want to read or write about a couple of generic nobodies flopping against each other, I want to see this interesting ship explored in an interesting, intimate way. There's so much you can think about and do with it.
