Ia, OP. What makes it extra frustrating is how fucking off-base some are with their hate - there's a whole troop of them furious that "Moffat isn't including Eccleston" when the actor turned down the opportunity to reappear!

Moffat hate is so bloody old. It really is. I don't get how people pour so much hate into it. Move on. Stop watching if it's come to that - but the endless hate he gets here is just so boring and repetitve now.

eccleston/nine stans or honestly obnoxious, to think he was my favourite doctor once! and now I just hope he never ever reappears or gets referenced just to spite those annoying stan jerks

Eccles would have turned down the opportunity because he didn't have a fun time working on the show in the first place, he said he left because he didn't like the atmosphere on the set, some of the higher-ups were dicks to the crew

I've worked with Ecceleson and he was a complete and utter dick to everyone so I find it highly amusing that he left because he didn't like the atmosphere. People probably weren't fawning over him and praising him like he was expecting.
