A disaster episode.

I grew up watching soap operas and so, you know, I like an episode where there's some huge disaster - tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, storm, blizzard, whatever, I'm there. I also like the time loops, mirror or alternate universes, confined spaces ones.

There's also unreliable narrator - a character will tell a story about what happened and the audience will see it, but then more information comes to light (usually through another character) and it changes the whole context of what happened.

I don't think that every show needs a musical episode - I like Grey's Anatomy, but the musical episode made me cringe.
