Re: Episodes/arcs that you refuse to accept as canon?

The "Mel" arc in Frasier. She was just so, so unlikeable.

Also Irene Adler's character in BBC Sherlock. I either pretend that episode didn't happen, or headcanon that this woman isn't the real Irene Adler, but an identity thief. I have no problem with the character, but she's not Irene Adler. I still hate the phone password, though. That absolutely never happened.

But Mel was supposed to be unlikeable!

Oh, I get that. She just succeeded far beyond my actual tolerance.

Ah I get it. :) She was quite godawful.

Scandal in Belgravia was where Moffat and Gatiss really let their true colours come through, and the show became everything they really wanted it to be: An OTT ill-plotted pastiche of a pastiche (the Rathbone movies), with only glancing nods to actual Canon (with steaming piles of excrement heaped on actual Canon for added insult).

Bitterness, thy name is fan :D

(btw, totally not criticizing this A+ evaluation of that ep)

I just submitted a secret about this. I didn't know anyone else felt the same.
