Missing the point of the question

(Anonymous) 2013-10-29 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
WEIRD THINGS, people! What are your favorite WEIRD things?

For example, you know how in Europe there are fairy and elf this and that. Fairy mounds, elf woods, giant causeways and such. In the US, we have something similar to that, only ours is with the Devil. If there is a weird, supernatural thing in the US, nine times out of ten, it's tied to the Devil or at least to demons. Like The Devil's Tramping Ground, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil's_Tramping_Ground. Or The New Jersey Devil, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_Devil. Or The Devil's Chair http://www.weirdus.com/states/florida/cemetery_safari/devils_chair/

*shrug* I think the varied landscape is weird.

It's similar in my country. We don't have elves or fairies, but we sure have a lot of witches and devils.

Make this thread again tomorrow except call it "paranormal / strange / eerie" things or something like that.

I think it would be an interesting thread if people realized it was supposed to be about that (not your fault they didn't) (nor their fault either, i made the same mistake)
