Mostly because like sex and sexuality was a huge part of character in the comics (or at least the popular impression of her character) and yet it seems to have been relatively minimized in the movie, which I kind of like.

I mean, I'm still hoping for a Carol movie and all, but still I think this works okay...

Basically this. Especially Carol. God damn I want a Carol Danvers movie ASAP.

This is probably going to sound really weird, but if there ever is a Carol Danvers movie, I kind of want her story to somehow involve sexual assault in the military, and I want that story handled well.

Never gonna happen, but a fangirl can pipedream, right?
