Then again, I saw someone accusing a interviewer of being racist for asking if they were right by guessing they smelled Cocoa butter* after saying that they smelled. : /

I saw that thing with the cocoa butter and it looked to me more like the commenters had a problem with the interviewer asking questions of the actress that they wouldn't be asking if she were male ("oh you smell so good, what kind of products do you use?" isn't something RDJ, for example, hears all the time - or at all), and ignoring her attempts to put the conversation back onto the topic of the show she was promoting. I might be wrong (or I might have seen different commentary than you, lol).

I don't know where it falls on the racism scale, but that interviewer was definitely being a dick. She kept trying to talk about the show because it's her job and he kept ignoring her with prying personal questions.
