No joke, one of my best friends in middle school was deathly afraid of this movie. Nothing in the world scared her more than those aliens.

But yeah, if you take it seriously you probably won't enjoy it as much as if you recognize that it's supposed to be a fun parody.

I really do enjoy Mars Attacks, though. Favorite Tim Burton movie by far.

I remember being scared of this movie when I was younger too! Then I watched it when I was older and I realised it was a parody.

I was scared of those aliens when I was little as well, they're creepy little motherfuckers. I can watch it an laugh these days though.
