I'm a bit confused, are you saying they complained about being triggered by the fic after ignoring the warnings, or are you saying they complained that the warnings triggered them by mentioning the "trigger"?

The cupcake complaint...did they at least say they were on a diet or something and complained about your triggering them for that?
