Maybe people know a bit about Shield now? I mean they did help out the Avengers. So the name "Shield" might be know, but people don't know exactly what it is? Or think it's not a secret government organization?

But really, idk. It seems more of an aesthetic choice than people thinking about Shield and its secrecy.
