An epileptic anon here. I was really scared of the MRI too, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just try your best to keep your mind busy, and it will go a lot faster than you think. The EEG is pretty unpleasant, like they do flash lights in your face (they start off slow, and gradually pick up speed), but that's just one part of the process. There are also breathing exercises, word repetition, and some other things I can't remember atm. Everyone who's administered the test has always been really nice.

Thanks very much for adding your experience, this has helped. Especially with the EEG procedure, as I have zip idea with what it's about, so this is good information to be prepared with.

Sure! :) Hope everything goes well.

(Oh also! There is a nice part at the end of the EEG where they ask you to take a nap. It's kinda weird, but you'd be surprised how easy it is to fall asleep.)
