So, I've had to have MRIs done several times at this point due to migraines. Unless you are claustrophobic (in which case, TELL THEM because there are MRI machines specifically designed for people with claustrophobia and if there is one in your area they will be able to set you up with whatever clinic has that instead!) they really are not as big of a deal as you may think.

The first one I had was at a super nice clinic where they asked me what type of music I liked so they could pipe it through to distract me. This is pretty standard at this point! They will also provide blankets and stuff if you think you're liable to get cold. Seriously, I about fell asleep during mine, and I was expecting to have major issues.
