Do you mean you're unsure of the order they're supposed to be read in? If that's the case, I'd gladly help out!
Ahh, and you've reminded me that the Discworld series has been on my "to read" list far too long! Must go take care of that ASAP~no subject
I found some lists of what order the books go in, but my impatientness makes me to want to skip straight to the good (Pendergast) stuff. :x I'm just not sure where that is. XD Should I just go straight in order, or are there any in particular you recommend (past "The Relic?")
I've only worked through half a dozen or so Discworld books so far, but I'm really enjoying them. Though I fear they may be spoiling me towards non-Pratchett authors. I recommend starting with "Guards, Guards" if you want to just jump in; it's the first in the City Watch series, which you'll probably like if you enjoy murder and crime mysteries with fantasy-slants to them. :D

If you're really impatient and want to get to the best stuff (in my humble opinion, anyway), you could skip ahead to the "Diogenes Trilogy" books, which are Brimstone/Dance of Death/The Book of the Dead, in that order. Although, in that case, missing out on Cabinet of Curiosities (and to a lesser extent, Still Life with Crows) beforehand will probably leave some plot gaps in your memory.
Whoo, that was long, sorry 8D; I hardly ever get to ramble about books, these ones in particular, so I get a little excited sometimes!
And thanks so much for pointing out "Guards, Guards"! I'll definetly look into that one; mysteries and such with fantasy elements are indeed right up my alley :D

I don't get to ramble about my books, either. It sucks. Only occasionally do I read things that other people have heard of (why are there so few Chrestomanci fans!?), so I take any opportunity to geek out when I can. :D
Out of all the Discworld books, I've definitely been enjoying the City Watch series best. The next two, Men at Arms and Feet of Clay were excellent reads (especially the latter ( I think you'll like them. :D

I hope you enjoy whichever book you end up reading first! :) The world is in dire need of more Pendergast fans. It's awfully disconcerting when one feels all alone in a fandom, be it book or otherwise XD And hurray for book geeking-out! Not enough of that in the world, I say.
Again, I can't thank you enough for the recs! Mr. Pratchett's works are especially high on my to-read list at the moment after reading (and loving dearly) his joint work with Mr. Gaiman, Good Omens, so now I've got an idea of where to start! Good heavens there are a lot of Discworld books, yipes 8D
