I am sad at the effect of rabid slash fangirls on my friendships and het pairings too. :( I read primarily slash but damn sometimes I want to read some het that isn't Character/Reader (those creep me out) or terrible.

At least the Avengers fandom has a decent amount of Natasha/Other.

You know, I used to read nothing but slash (partly through nothing else being available in previous fandoms and getting into a habit) but then I read one Darcy-centric fic and suddenly all my Marvel love is for her. idek
