Well, I have a few questions for you.

Do you only ship white dudes? Do you only find white dudes attractive? If the answer is yes to one or both of these questions, you might want to examine why.

Otherwise, I believe a lot of shipping white dudes is a numbers game. The overwhelming majority of most American TV show casts are white men (I think the men part is a little more puzzling than the white part since women make up more than 50 percent of the US population according to the last census, but whatever). And, yes, most of the US population is white, but it’s less than is portrayed in a lot of shows. So, of the prominent characters that are male, maybe 85% percent of them are white. With that, it isn’t really that surprising that most slash ships are white.

But I also think some of it is societal conditioning. There is a certain sort of prized actor attractiveness (you can see this in how a lot of actors have similar features). And it’s not unusual to be attracted to more people of the same race as you.

Plus, there is the fact that interracial relationships are still not all that common.

I don't think shipping white dudes is inherently racist (although I do think that racism can be a contributing factor to the things I mentioned above), but it doesn't hurt to examine why things are the way they are.
