I have a mini version of this going on all the time where I get on the internet and see a bunch of nonsensical pompous liberal bullshite then I'm like "Christ am I conservative or what" but then I listen to an argument between my Liberal Democrat Uncle, Conservative Democrat Uncle, and Conservative Republican Dad and it's like Battle of the Blowhards and then I just think "Christ nuke them all."

...this is exactly how Canadians feel, watching Question Period, these days.

(Why can't old Bess just fire the Tory-in-the-PM's-pocketbook, depose Fuhrer Harpo, and set up Elizabeth May as the honourary Queen of Canada? Sure, nothing would get done, but at least the country wouldn't resemble Germany ca. 1939 anymore....)
