Not that it's looked down on, but I think it's often overlooked. It's got a pulp-fiction lightheartedness as its overall feel, but deliberately and expertly so. It uses tropes SO effectively, every single damn season had an internal narrative arc and a satisfying conclusion, the acting was always good and often brilliant (Timothy Hutton keeps his Oscar in his fridge and has an underutilized gift for comedy), the episodes were damn solid all the way through...and it was FUN. And funny. And affecting. And, dammit, I'm mad again that my show didn't last a million years and there's hardly any fic. ㅜㅜ

Everything you said here, a million times over. I am so so thankful that I wasn't one of the people who overlooked Leverage, because it was just so amazing in every way.
