My predictions for a reboot: It'll be 'darker', the cast will be younger than the originals, it won't be fun or campy, but just full of drama. Basically what the CW did to the Secret Circle Series.

If your boyfriend is missing enough traits of your ideal partner for it to be a problem, then the fact that he's missing enough traits of your ideal partner for it to be a problem is the problem. Especially if nothing has made it better after 10 years. Tbh, it doesn't matter whether it was your next door neighbor or some guy across the world who clued you into that fact.

There might not be an ideal guy waiting for you, but if you hang on to the same one forever, you're never going to meet anyone closer to it.
